She was a singer who recorded such songs as "Two Ton Tessie (From Tennessee)", "We've Now't Like Them in London", "That 'Kruschen' Feeling", "You're Getting Older Every Day", "Thirsty Thirsty Throats", "The Day I Rode to Brighton on My Bike", "He Never Slept a Wink All Night" and "A Little Bit of Something That the Others Haven't Got". As an actress, she appeared in the movies "Bedknobs and Broomsticks", "The Best House in London", "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" (1968), "The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming", "Mr. Scrooge", "The Shiralee", "Somewhere in Politics" and "Holidays With Pay". As well, she appeared on the television show "As Good Cooks Go" (Blodwen O'Reilly), among various guest appearances. Also, she appeared in such Broadway productions as "The Girl Who Came to Supper" (won a Tony Award). She died of congestive heart failure.
