As an actor, he appeared in such movies as "Land of No Return", "The Private Lives of Adam and Eve", "The Fearmakers", "Duchess of Idaho", "Junior Miss", "Pardon My Rhythm" and "Higher and Higher". As well, he appeared on such television shows as "It Was a Very Good Year" (host - also produced), "Summertime U.S.A." and "TV's Top Tunes" (co-host), among various guest appearances.
