She was a singer and piano player who recorded such songs as "I Can't Give You Anything But Love", "Beat O My Heart", "Annie Doesn't Live Here Anymore", "Are You Makin' Any Money?", "Not for All the Rice in China", "Barrel-House Music", "I'm No Angel", "New O'Leans", "Tony's Wife" and "Every Now and Then". She worked with such artists as Paul Whiteman's band, the Dorsey Brothers, Joe Venuti and Eddie Land. She died of ovarian cancer.
