"Hall of Fame" MLB baseball player (shortstop, first, second, third base). He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators and Boston Red Sox. He was the AL's All-Star shortstop 7 times, MVP in 1930 and hit over .300 8 times. He later managed the Red Sox, worked in their front office and was American League President for 2 terms.
