As well, he has appeared on such television shows as "Providence" (Dr. James Hansen), "M*A*S*H" (Capt. B.J. Hunnicut - and sequel movie), "The Man and the City" (Andy Hays), "The Interns" (Dr. Sam Marsh) and "Days of Our Lives" (Scotty Banning [#2]), among numerous guest appearances. He son is actor Michael Farrell, daughter is costume designer Erin Farrell, wife is actress Shelley Fabares and, at one time, was married to actress Judy Farrell.
